The Glove

by Bradley   Apr 13, 2005

To be freed from these chains of unforgiving steel
To be freed from what was once, how i wanted to feel

To be assumed by most as a reluctant fool
To be assumed by most, as a failure at school

To still have an Angel who's wings never fall
To still have an Angel, who hides nothing at all

To have consideration for those who pose a threat
To have consideration, is not what i regret

To stand back on my feet and look at the world whole again
To stand back on my feet and look at the time past, well spent

To now see things for what they really are
To now see things, without looking through bars

To not have anxiety, woe, pain, fears and struggle
To not have so many emotions, that my brain has to juggle

To look and to see, to love and feel loved
Is to take off from your hand, that misjudged cotton glove
