Death Had Arrived

by DamselInDistress   Apr 13, 2005

Mourn the death
Of those gone
Only this will
Calm them till dawn

Early morning
Everyone lies awake
But no one is still
They all shake

The peace and quiet gone
Sadness in the air
But people still say
"Please, do not despair."

The bird was singing a song
That is very long
Tiring the people
making them feeble

Slowly they all fall
All to the ground
As their tears slowly
Fell onto the floor of the hall

A long time ago
People were happy
And there were no tears
But now everyone seams sappy

At first only two fell
So no mystery would awake
They lied
For everyones sake

But slowly more people fell
Many even though they were going to Hell
But they should have known
That was only what they were shown

Finally the truth hit them
It was a curse
They would have to suffer
For all their hearts would burst

At the end
No one was standing
No one had survived
For death had arrived.
