Why Do You Do This To Me

These bruises hurt my face
and these tears burn my eyes
why do you hurt me and not hear my cries?
Your words hurt my feelings
and my scars are hidden deep
you keep hurting not knowing these are the fears in me.
When you draw close and say you love me, I just keep on believing because I am blinded and can no longer see.
But, inside you beat me and hurt me and start my tears, I cannot believe I've been with you and wasted all these years.
