Nella Bellezza della Natura dal Dio

by Samantha lynn   Apr 15, 2005

I wander through the luscious fields
Of gentle daisies and bright tulips,
Lauding God for his grand creations.

The clouds dance
To the soft melodies,
Of the sweet mockingbird
In morning’s earliest hours.

The wild dove and shy deer
Roam the earth in silent
Swift appreciation of the world.
Innocent existence in this life,
A world marred by war and aging violence.

I dance beneath the shining moon,
The sparkling stars calling to me,
And I laugh.
As if this world holds no boundaries,
I welcome the sounds of the night,
And listen to the secrets of the whispering willow.

Praising the unnerved beauty,
I leap and fly as an eagle,
Run swift like the deer,
And take in the delicate nature of the lilac tree.
Beholding the witness to sovereign power around me,
I give thanks to God,
For I am alive.
