Lost it all

by zachok   Apr 17, 2005

One apprehensive night,
His arms closed around her tight,
There eyes connected,
As her love cast a spell on him,
He couldn't help but adore her,
Giving in to her every whim,
Melting to her soft touch,
She was his world,
Leaning over and whispering in his ear,
Telling him that they were over,
He fell over silent,
In one instant his world came crashing down,
Walking out the door and out of his life,
Losing his only desire,
Starting to realize,
He would never be happy again without her,
Joy turned to sorrow,
Bravery turned to fright,
All Happiness whipped from his memory,
With a sinking heart,
Out went the light.
