Nightmare

I lie down and try to dream of a better place
As I fall asleep I can sense the nightmare coming upon me
There is nothing I can do, I have to watch it play out before my eyes
It starts out just me and you walking hand in hand on the sand

Then I feel you hand slip out of mind, I turn to see what’s wrong
And I see you walking into the arms of another.
I fall to my knees. And watch as you walk way from me.
When I wake, I feel a tear roll down my cheek.
