Dont throw in that towel

I hear dudes sayin things deeper than any ocean.
i pay attention and look at everything in slow motion.
look at every individual in the eye.
wondering if they ever want to die.
you read my stuff n u think its deep.
but the people who really had to go through it have scars to keep.
so pay attention when i say sometimes it dont relate.
but i do feel pain, and i do feel hate.
sometimes i feel like i have no family.
cuz i sit at the table alone while everyone else is going along happily.
i might look calm but im flippin inside.
these peoples always try rippin my pride.
but they dont ever succeed.
they waste their time tryna make me bleed.
i got a fire inside they cant extinguish.
when i cuss them out they look at me like they dont speak english.
cuz like everyone else i stay strong like the pave.
n we al have to take the bull to the grave.
everyone has a memory that wont b forgotten.
but then theres people who wanna go out rotten.
n they look at the bitter side intead of whats left.
they just wait there waitin for death.
look at the mirror n see the gifted you.
n this had to have lifted you.
dont pay attention to whats not there.
if u still got those feelings then go share.
sometimes i wonder if i would've gave in.
but id pick myself up n smile while you wavin.
put down that gun, dont put dat slug to ya skull.
follow da light n pull yoself up out the hole.
