Our relationship's not gone wrong,
We've just drifted away from what has kept us strong.
RESPECT on both parts has went from most important to nonexistant,
Your hurtful words and my never-ending yelling has created distance.
I say I'm tired of you, I hate you, and I quit.
You say I'm easy, fat, and a baby when I throw my fits.
A few moments later, that night we take to think and rest.
We always sweep it under a rug and go on loving each other less than our best.
A change, and action we both need,
Because apologies no longer work when sinful words have made our lips bleed.
I'll show you patience, if you lend me your ear.
I'll be a better everything, if you promise to always care.
