THE ONLY FISH IN THE SEA

by KIMBERLY   Apr 20, 2005

I put my worm on the hook,
I draw back and then spring out,
They swim to my lure in an instant,
All except for you.

You stand there and watch,
With deep brown eyes,
A little boy smile, and a slight giggle,
As hundreds attack the worm.

I don't notice the others,
Shaking about and biting like mad,
I don't draw my fishing pole up,
I don't care.

All I can do, is sit and stare,
At the only one I can't bait,
The only one who won't look,
The only fish in the sea.
