I HEARD HER CRY

by KIMBERLY   Apr 20, 2005

I heard her cry,
I ran to her,
The crying stopped,
I could not find her.

It was dark and scary,
I was determined to help,
Make her stop crying,
I ran back to bed.

Covers over my head,
I peeked out again,
When I heard her cry,
I knew that cry.

I ran toward the sound,
She was not there,
I woke from the dream,
I cried in pain.
