Girl You Never Knew

No one knows her name
she has an older brother
people know her as his little sister
don't bother to know her name

Got to know a guy
she told him her name
and referred to her as her older brothers little sister
not knowing that would be her last straw

That day she sat at home
not talking to anyone
not answering her cell phone
thinking of a way to be known
as he own person

The next day came
she took her dads gun
some extra bullets
and left to go to the high school
where she no longer goes

She started shooting
taking innocent lives
making them and their families suffer
like she has been for the last couple years

In the end
innocent people died
and she took her own life
