Eternal Darkness

by Paul   Apr 21, 2005

The sound is heard throughout the night,
For what once was bright is not so light.
It hurries through the darkness,
Finally released.

It ruins minds,
It destroys worlds.
Animals cannot stand in its path,
Candles will not hold it a bay.

This time around,
It shall not stop.
No sun, or gun will stop it.
It’s time has come,
It’s time is now.
For if they had listened,
They may have known.
What power this thing may behold.

No they would not listen,
They would not follow.
So now its time to end all sorrow.
No more shame,
No more happiness,
Just the fear,
Of Eternal Darkness.
