Dream to reality

In my mind I look in the mirror
And see you and me together
Overwhelmed by the evidence
Of the miracle growing inside me

I’m overcome by joy,
Joy inexpressible, unimaginable,
and a kind of peace that surpasses
all understanding.

Once there was you
and there was me
Now there’s us
expanding our territory
In my garden, you have planted
a seed and now we wait
impatiently to hold in our arms
the fruit of our love

From my mind into reality
From the unseen to the tangible
Hoping my dream will
Be something I can hold
If only you could love me
and let me love you
Then we can create “us”.
“Us” will create a miracle of it’s own.
