Who is this Almighty God?

by Carlee Ann   Apr 21, 2005

So many people think
They can care for themselves
And they end up in a bigger mess
All because of lack of God's help
Sometimes I wonder
How He always understands
No matter how much I neglect Him
He always saves me again
I don't know why I believe
That I can get through on my own
I forget He is right next to me
I forget the love He has shown
I stand independent to deal with issues
And when I fail, I ask for help once more
And He never disowns me
But makes my faith more sure
Who is this Lord, you ask?
Who is this Almighty God, you say?
He's the rock on which I lean
Who makes the sun rise each day
Oh, and little, pitiful me
He allows me to live
With so much hope, so much comfort
And the ability to forgive.

    That was so true.
This isn't the greatest poem of yours that I've read, but it still was pretty good. If you work on the flow a little bit it will be excellent.
