She can't cry, and neither can I

by ANNE   Apr 22, 2005

If you look deep within her brown eyes
You’ll see the real her - the real pain
The things she keeps to herself
She won’t cry, No - she can’t cry

She is always happy and outgoing
Anyone can be fooled by her smile
And she wants them to, if only for a while
She won’t cry, No - she can’t cry

She has her own methods to release pain
Many knows, but no one ever ask
They won’t believe what they see
She won’t cry, No - she can’t cry

The reality is too tuff for them to realise
She is not the girl they all think she is
She won’t tell, because they won’t see
She won’t cry, No - she can’t cry

To them she is such a strong person
She is known as the rock people can lean on
But she’s not; she just can’t show her feelings
She won’t cry, No - she can’t cry

Look behind the smile and see in the eyes
If the two things don’t match each other
You know there’s most likely something wrong
I won’t cry, No – I can’t cry
