Today

Today i came to know that life can be cruel and bad.
cause when i am happy the rest of the country is sad.
Today being rich is no longer a point,
cause half our country cries for a one rupee coin.
Laughter of children can no longer be heard.
Its only pain and sorrow thats everywhere and here.

Today when i thought how bad can life get,
because it all just seems like a big bad bet.
Killing and cheating is part of the game.
cause only only things like this can bring you fame.
Being kind and helpful is like a part time job,
cause everyones conscience and values are getting robbed.

So cant we make a difference,cant we even try?
Life is like a river
Today it may be flowing but tomorrow it may run dry.
