I have a love
a love that will last
but this isnt something
that most people cast
its a dream i have
a dream of them all
the one that i will wake up
and not feel bad for at all
its a game that i play
and sometimes win
its something that i do
and no i dont swim
i slid and dive
and run from place to place
i do wear a glove
and a helmet
with a mask over my face
there are things that you step on
i call it a base
a coach and 9 players
is all that it takes
umpires are nice to have too
they keep the game
nice and smooth

but the dream is something
