Love at First Sight (Short)

by Prince Enigma   Apr 27, 2005

Waking up in the middle of the night,
She was love at first sight,
Wiping the cold sweat off my forehead,
I thought to myself and said:
Was she finally the one?
As my Story of Love begun . . .

It all started in a simple city,
I was rushing to work,
And I knocked down this lady,
She gave me a simple smirk.

I apologized on my behalf,
There was a moment of silence for a bit,
I could feel something special deep inside,
This was new to me I admit.

I was late for work,
I entered the elevator and there she was again,
My heart beated rapidly,
This was a feeling I could not explain.

We walked by eachother briefly,
Looking eye to eye,
She smiled like a crescent angel,
From the heaven and sky.

I turned around to look,
She vanished into thin air,
Was my mind playing tricks on me?
God that would be just plain cruel and unfair.

too be continued.....
