Raining Tears

by Morgan   Apr 27, 2005

Silent silver streaks of steady rain sprinkle down upon me,
Its not so graceful but this is possibly as beautiful as I could ever be,
Simple and gentle this is the unlikely me that I’d love to stay,
I appear almost elegant and normal on such rainy days,
To know I’m not perfect and that does not bother me,
It only bothers me when people can’t see,
That I to am human too,
But I'm still I'm not like any of you,
In the rain I sink into waters so deep,
Dreaming of things that most people can only find in their sleep,
I'm sometimes secretly sorry to say,
You’ll never see me this way,
I’m sad and alone, but not with out feeling my scars numbed by ice cold rain,
From such horrific burning pasts filled with Immortal pains,
I wish it was easier for me to explain my feelings to you all,
But I can’t do that with out the emotion of fear consuming me entirely until I can only fall,
Silent like the rain I stand,
Only smiling with an out stretched hand,
Whispering into your ear for only you to hear,
“I promise I can never hate,
I promise I’ll never share my lonesome sorts of fate,
I promise to love you even when I'm too sad to see you before my form,
I promise I’ll shelter you from the rain and keep you warm,
I promise I’ll respect you and treat you right,
Even if you don’t return such a favor, I’ll always act as if you might,
I can promise you such things because I care,
Its only reasonable that I treat you so fair.

These are my words and remember them well,
For I am Morgan and you’ll never hear these words again, I tell.”
