The Old You

by LoÑ£ly♥P!rÄτΣ   Apr 28, 2005

I want the old you back,
because he was a joy.
He talked and laughed,
like a normal boy.

But now you're sad,
all the time.
I could share when I was mad,
and you would take my side.

But things have changed,
I can't even say,
what has happened that day.
You are always too sad.
Mad at your dad.

I can no longer share,
my troubles or joys,
because you are always sad.
Now I have no one to turn to.
you were the only one,
I ever trusted,
because you were fair,
sweet, and you cared.

But that's no longer,
because my troubles and cuts
would bring you down,
and make you more upset.
So why must I,
stick around and wait,
just for depression,
that has controlled your fate.
