A Mother Like You

by Brutal Passion   Apr 28, 2005

There were times when it seemed like we wouldn't get through, all the pains, all the struggles, all of life's blues. All those times were hard, but what could we do? But all those times I thanked God for a mother like you.

For you stood by our sides when we felt alone. You took a house and made it into a home. Your family you loved, and indeed it showed. And you raised a little boy and taught him to grow.

So I stand as a man with pride in his heart. Thanks to a mother who's love never grew apart. You're my eyes when I can't see, my light in the dark. I'll love you 'til the end, because you've been with me since the start.

Thank you for everything Ma...I love you.
