A Broken heart

by fallentears   May 1, 2005

Her limp body rests across the bed.
She weeps silently into her pillow,
her heart has been ripped away from her so many times its become bruised and worn.
The cuts on her arm are deep,
too deep.
The blood has soaked up the bed sheets.
She's lying on the bed, barely conscious.
Her life is slowly slipping away from her.
Her eyes seem to get heavier and heavier.
She slowly drifts off into a deep sleep.
There lies a dead girl with a broken heart.
