Charming, Alarming

by lindzy   May 1, 2005

I cut a pattern on my arm
No need to shout and cause alarm
It's just another plain old day
Another day I don't want to stay
An addiction holds me very deep
As more and more of my blood seeps
The stained carpet glares at me
Showing everyone, so they can see
What to them is sick and alarming
To me is fun and very charming
I like the burning, I like the stings
I like the way my razor sings
I like the gashes, I like the cuts
But all of you just think I'm nuts
I hide it again, and smile at you
To spare you the pain, I go threw
