Blue

Blue is the towering waterfall
When the flowers are beginning to blossom
And a mist of water surrounds your face.
Blue is a sapphire ocean under the moon light.
Blue is the vast sky above us
And the faint splash of rain droplets on the ground.
Blue is a peacock’s brilliant feathers
Blue is a king’s royal robe,
A crystal ball, a berry
A stained glass window.
The sound of blue is
“Whoosh. Whoosh.”
Singing sweet, fragile harmony in
The peaceful heavens.
Blue is the radiant beams dancing on your windowpane
It sparkles in your eyes
The reflection in the mirror.
The lonely tree in a forest
And a lighthouse overlooking the sea,
The Christmas card on
The fireplace mantle.
Blue is a feeling of painful hope
Like depression but
With happiness and glory.
Blue is a murmur in the distance
And the icicles that dangle from the rooftops
Blue is a slight breeze
Rustling the palm trees.
Blue is suffering prosperity
In it’s purest moment,
The early morning dew
On a blade of grass.
Think of the Pearly Gates
And the angels wings upon the stars
That’s what it would be like
If only blue could echo the sigh of feeling in eternity…
