The Populating Fly

by Pianist   May 3, 2005

Waxen White as fluffy clouds
the fly bursts through its egg.
Larvae forming pupate stage
mutate into a yegg.

Days have flown and so now does
the charcoal blackened fly.
Lurking where the fowlest trash
can hide the tainted spy.

Laying egg, tens at a time
Till hundreds rest in dark.
Then again a single fly
Bursts through to disembark.

On it goes forever more
the populating fly.
Millions come where millions go
and life just passes by.

Haha. Very amusing. I do not believe another could tell a better story of the fly. Wonderful, wonderful job.
I loved the entire poem - it is so random to write about a fly, but that you can is amazing. Good job.

A lot of people get so caught up in the dramas and meaningless aspects of life that they end up living that boring life....if we could focus on what's really important and embrace it this would be a much better place to live....but i liked your advice at the end....once again, brilliant!
