Choices

by Wolfwood   May 3, 2005

Flames filled her eyes
And sorrow her heart
The tears never stop
But when did they start

The scarring of tissue
The bleeding of arms
The one painful choice
Now only brings harm

Fate is a word
That people conceive
To try and reject
The choices like these

The choices she made
Are hers all alone
The fate that she weaves
She herself has sown
