Not Wanting You To Go

by Sheila   Sep 16, 2003

When I closed the front door I wanted to cry
The hardest part is saying good-bye
I can\'t change what will happen
Nor will I even try
I won\'t shed a tear unless I know why
I wish I could tell you how much I care
Wanting you to always be there
Years of bad decisions are finally over too
I never could have done it without you
Of all the people I\'ve ever met
You are the one I will never forget
I know time is something you have little of
Somewhere my friendship turned into love
Should I be afraid of my feelings for you
You make me happy, this I know is true
Can you tell me how you feel?
You have always told me what is real
They say time will heal all wounds
But can time become your worst enemy?
When do you know your wounds have healed?
Do they arrive in an envelope tightly sealed?
Feelings change and people do too
One thing I know is that I really do love you
Confused about somethings I may be
But I do write from the heart I hope you can see

With all my love to JC
