Loneliness

Emptiness swallows my broken heart,
As hatred controls my hand.
I wander through the darkness
Of a lonely, depressing land.

Where the f u c k am I going,
And where the hell am I supposed to be?
How did I get in this place?
Please tell me it's just a dream.

Imprisoned in this horrid life,
And wanting to let go.
Captured by love of the knife,
For reasons I don't know.

Put a razor in my vein,
Let the crimson tears flow out.
All the thoughts no one wants to hear,
In my mind, just float about.

The truth that nobody listens to,
Embedded in my brain.
I fall onto the blood splattered ground,
And lie there in the rain.

The comfort it brings is overwhelming
When the weather reflects my soul,
The time when the beauty of nature,
Takes my heart in a gripping hold.

Alone, I walk throughout
This lonely place,
Trying hard to hide
My tear stained face.

Knowing no matter
How hard I try,
I can't be relieved.
They won't let me die.

I wander
In the empty cold,
Wishing someone else
Were here to hold.

Just one glance at my bloody wrist
Brings a laugh across my tongue.
Wondering why I'm so f u c k e d up
Yet, still I am so young.

I try to ignore the voices,
Echoing in my head,
Whispering in my ear,
"You would be better off dead"

Slipping faster,
Without any luck,
Fading quickly,
With every last cut.

Rocking to the sound
Of the voices and fighting the tears,
If the pain doesn't kill me,
The loneliness will...
