The Real Me

by Robert S. Velez   May 4, 2005

“The Real Me”

In this hell which I call mine
Born a child of darkest design
Looking for a soul that is not there
With thoughts and feelings he dares not share
So sad to see a man of this kind
For his fears and demons are not far behind
To feel and live through all this tragedy
I guess happiness is just not meant for me.
