Impossible Love

by Yap Yew Jin   Sep 19, 2003

You came into my world like a new born star,
Your light shining bright even from afar.
Like a ghost, you invaded my life,
As a friend, a sister and a wife.

Some say that it's love at first sight,
When love blossoms just overnight.
I say it's more towards fate,
A thin line separating love and hate.

I've always wanted to say I love you
But just can't bring myself to.
I just wish that someday you'll know
Just how much I love you so.

When you're not around, I feel cold,
Your hand is what I am eager to hold.
My love for you lasted from the start
This is the message straight from my heart.
