This poem was not written by me, it was written by a Friend of mine, and I was to show how good her work is, even though she thinks it sucks.
Before I ever met you,
There was no truth to life,
I admit I went crazy,
And I took it to a knife.
But it's like an angel saved me from the hell that I've been through.
Pulled me up from the dark, to the light,
My angel is you.
I was so dazed and confused,
No happiness was found, I was alone,
Lost by myself,
Even with Friends around.
But now, I have a compass that can tell me where to go.
Lead me in the right direction,
My compass is you.
Before I ever met you,
There ware things I could not say.
Like how, in my head,
I fought battles each and every day.
But now,
I have a secret weapon,
The battles are done,
It's true.
With one fowl swipe,
You wiped it out.
My secret weapon is you.
So every time I'm not with you,
I lose a little more.
But when I see your face again,
I'm brighter then before.
So when I'm low
Or lost,
Or in the dark,
I know just what to do.
I'll look for my guiding light,
My Friend,
My lover,
You.
