Angel Boy

by Carrianna   May 7, 2005

Sitting in her room
Nothing to protect her
her bruises hidden
by the cotton fur

She pretends to be glad
around her friends
But inside shes desperately sad

She needs something to lean on
Not be something to beat on

She cant see clear
because of her tears
they run down her face
as if someone cares

One night of pain
As her dad leaves the room
She feels trapped by chains

Her Angel hears her mourn
As he takes her hand in harmony
He says "It will all be better soon..
"You will have good company"

After traveling through the gates
She realizes she is somewhere
Like never before
It is a beautiful place
Something her dad would have never bared

She says "Thank you" to the boy
Who brought her to this place
and runs off with her face full of joy
Something she hasn't done since she was born
