Trying to Stop

The voices in my head
driving me insane
as i sit alone in my
dark cold room
feeling only pain.

I close my eyes
and try to escape
but all the hate pulls my back
and fills my thoughts with whys

I try my best not to cut
resist the feel
ignore the trust
everything is to much for
my weak body
can't take the rush

Count to ten
pray to God
that i will make it through
Trying to stop but it's slowly getting through

(I'm trying to stop cutting but it is really hard and takes a lot)
