Proper Family (12/3/05)

by Calley   May 8, 2005

For the first time,
in ages
we were a
proper family.

Sitting on the train,
laughing and joking,
me and Helen argued a bit
but it didn't matter.

Talking, acting
as life was prefect,
and that was how
life was all the time.

On the train home,
we were separated
it felt right,
how life normally is.

It was a good evening,
but fake.
I wouldn't mind acting
as a proper family again.

There was no shouting,
no arguments,
just talking
and laughing.

That's how life
USED
to be.

*this diary entry was written when we saw chitty chitty bang bang for mothers day*
