A Puzzle

The pieces form a smile
That goes on for a mile
The pieces form a hand
With one promise band

Her heart is given away
Not to be swayed
The pieces fit together
And are framed to keep forever

Her heart was torn apart
But she now shows a new start
A new start to hold
And she’ll never again fold

The pieces form a phrase
To talk about her lost days
It says she’s a survivor
And you should praise her

She is now healing
From the feeling
Of being lost
Which was the cost

The other guy used to beat her
And mistreat her
He was the reason
For all her tears

She was saved by heaven’s grace
After seeing a long lost face
He made her feel once again
And made her see once again

The pieces form a rose bed
With only one rose wilting to be dead
After three break through words said
She knew he was the one she would wed

The pieces form one
That symbolize something that can’t be undone
The pieces form a puzzle
That will be cherished forever and always
