The True Meaning of Death

by The Flame Within   May 10, 2005

I squeeze my eyes making the image go away making it die in my mind
would you still believe me if i told you that i felt just fine
there is something wrong with me on the inside
its seems its getting harder for me to hide
the tears have not flooded my eyes for too long
its growing, my heart is telling me something is wrong
fists break faces fingers pull triggers, hands pull knives
so much death, so many people are ending lives
when is my number up, when is it my time to leave
when will it be time to carry the weight of my sins, the weight i must heave
i don't hide from death, i a only accept it, its my way of winning
because i know the true meaning of it, death is only the beginning

I used to feel like that at some point and I kinda still do and it's not that great. So if you really went through something like that....I know how you feel.
