Speak to the sky

I speak to the sky when ever things go wrong,
And you know you’re not talking to the air,
Cos you know that the world must look better from up there.
Then I know that everything’s going to be alright,
Cos I talk to the sky every night.

I speak to the sky when I’m feeling low,
Nothing seems to go my way,
When I’m stuck in rut, don’t know where to go,
When the life doesn’t seem to be fair,
I always speak to the sky cos I know that you are there.

I speak to the sky to tell you how I feel,
Tell you how my day went wrong,
But then I know you were watching all along.
When I talk to the sky, I’m not talking to the air,
Cos I know you are there for me – even from up there.
