Bruises

One more shout
Another scream
Another bruise
One more bad dream
Shouts of anger
Shouts of fear
All you want
Is to disappear
You said you would forgive and forget
Though you can’t forget these scars

Tears fall
Life goes on
Pain happens
This can’t go on
Hearts break
Like broken bones
Moans escape
From this place called home

Shouts of hate
Shouts of pain
You don’t want this to remain

    so many interpretations to this poem. mine was rape...but thats from past experience...rape but a father or a brother...something.....but i also get the feeling of my father beating me black and blue. or beating my mother....and then again...i see my friends....or what i thought were my friends using me and leaving bruises on my emotions....

    amazing poem.. id kinda like to here your interpritation of it though.....
