The Girl From Your Past

by Kaye   May 11, 2005

Boy, I just want you to
Hold me,
Love me,
But just don't try to control me.
Boy, if you want, I can be
Innocent,
Wild,
Just don't think you can tame me.

I'll do what I want,
And I'll do it when I want.
I'm not the submissive type of girl,
And you know it's true. *grins*
I'm still the girl from your past,
Still the girl you knew back then.

I may have gotten some curves,
Developed, a figure, whatever you wanna call it.
I may be wearing skirts, heels, and some make up.
Shirts and jeans that hug in all the right places,
That shows a little something, you know *winks*
Flaunt what I got and drive the guys wild.
Flirt and tease, seduce and leave.

But rest a sure baby boy,
I'm still your girl-next-door,
I can still kick your sorry butt
And weaken you with a pout.
I'm still the girl that wrestled you to the ground,
And whooped you in Street Fighter and Pac Man.
The one who tended to soak you with a hose,
And smile innocently when she lied.

I'll always be the girl from your past.
The girl that kicked you black and blue,
And smacked you silly for making her cry.
Boy, I'm still the tomboy you grew up with,
Still the one you trusted and loved.
With a little adjustment of course. *smiles*

If you think you can handle this,
Step right up and let's try our luck.
Cuz baby, I'll make it worth your while.
And make sure you never wanna leave.
I'll treat you right boy,
I know you like I know myself.
Between you and me?
It'll work if you're willing to give it a shot.

I may not be so innocent anymore.
I may not be so naive,
I may have grown up,
Matured and met the Real World.
But baby, no matter what,
Deep down, I'll always be your little tomboy.

Childhood friendships can grow into something more.
You never know what life'll toss at you next.
Things may change forever,
To good or bad, who knows?
But it's up to you to take the risk,
And see where it takes you.
So baby, are you man enough to take this chance?
Boy, are you willing to try?
Give your girl from the past a chance?
Or should I fish around for another guy?
