Magic Blanket

by Sabine Taylor   May 11, 2005

This magic blanket
Which lies itself over our world
When the night appears
And the day fates away
Endless and deep it seems
Some little stars
Showing us the way to our dreams

Feeling welcome and cosy
Under that blanket so huge
Big enough for the two of us
Holding each other close
To don’t lose
While we fall asleep

Like a shelter this magic blanket
Lies over us and holds us warm
When the night flees
And the blanket rips with little holes
Till all the little stars have disappeared
And a new day waits for us
To complete our night’s dream
