Remembering You

by *Sunshine*   May 13, 2005

You were only 19,
Still a young child,
You were such a great kid,
Your presence was so mild.

You were always there,
When anyone needed you,
Never thinking of yourself,
There was nothing you wouldn't do.

I can't believe God would take you,
So smart, caring and kind,
We need you here with us,
Trade me places, I won't mind.

It doesn't seem real,
Like a nightmare come true,
That another one of my best friends,
Would have their life stolen too.

I wish you'd come back,
Leave God and come home,
Your life was like a flower,
Whose beauty wasn't fully shown.

I miss you terribly and hope to see you soon,
Hun, You can't be too far...
I'll find you someday,
I'll just follow the big bright star...

I know it was kind of a bad ending but i wrote it in Geography. class and i didn't wanna change anything... please comment... ----------------------------- This poem was written for my friend William E. Gibson Aka: Billy... He was killed in a car wreck on Saturday April 16... he was only 19.... God i miss him . . .
