Before I Go

by RapMastaT   May 13, 2005

Caught up in a moment,
The time frozen,
The life passes me by,
Come out of entombment,
In the corner of my mind,
These thoughts,
Lay closed and forgotten,
Behind the lie,
It will never be real,
The pen which I signed,
My name to to seal,
How I die,
You have written the contract,
I left my mark,
I guess this is the real deal,
I just wait here,
And wait to die,
Before being given back my life,
That I could never have,
In the cold and dark,
Your rules I must adhere,
It's just a shame to leave,
Knowing who I'm going from,
They don't deseve this,
But I'm finding it hard to believe,
To heaven I steer,
Knowing that I leave behind,
All I now know,
So I can miss,
My mind,
Your lies,
And remembering just how unkind,
You were to me,
The cuts go in,
It's time,
I seal my fate,
One last time,
I just wanted to say i cared,
And I want you to know,
I just couldn't take the pain,
And my reputation bared,
I deal the mortal blow,
I just wanted to say to you,
Before I go out,
I loved you too.
