One true love?

I am always thinking of my one true love
the one i know was sent from above
god sent him here to mend my broken heart
he has had it from the start
thank god i know nothing could tear us apart
i hope he will always be here
although he is always near
i have always dreamed of finding that special guy
when i finally found him i let out a giant sigh
it was of relief not grief
when you think you've found the person you will wake up next to
you believe your love will always be true
without that person you can't breathe, sleep, or even eat
that person you always wish to keep
i know when you find that special someone
you will wish for a ring on your finger
even if he leaves the love you once shared will always linger
your first true love is someone you can't forget
even if he is the one that broke your heart and anger off-set
no matter how hard you try
you will always cry
when you see him with another girl
your head and heart just start to swirl
you will always feel like part of you is missing
especially when you see them kissing
even if he broke your heart
he has and always will have it from the start
you miss him more and more each day
and to think you wanted him with you to stay
you never realized how much he meant to you
until the day he left you didn't know what to do
it killed you deep down inside
your feelings you could not hide
you tried so hard to hide the tears you shed

you think of so many things you should have said

as time goes on you feel like more and more of you just wants to die
but eventually the sun will come out
no longer will you scream and shout
you will realize that sometimes it takes time for the heart to heal
and that in the end you make the final deal
was it fake or true
did you really know what to do
