Forget and remember

by Black and White   May 13, 2005

Forget his name,
forget his face,
forget his kisses,
and his warm embrace.

Forget the love that you once knew,
remember now he has someone new.

Forget him when you hear his favorite song.
Forget the times when you cried all night long.
Forget how close you two once were,
remember now he has chosen her.

Forget the way you memorized his walk.
Forget the way you used to talk.
Forget the things he used to say,
remember now he has gone away.

Forget his laugh, forget his grin,
forget the dimples on his chin.
Forget the way he held you tight,
remember he’s with her tonight.

Forget the times that went so fast.
Forget them now for they're the past.
Forget he said he’d leave you never.
Remember now he’s gone forever..
