Graveyard

by EternalSorrow   May 13, 2005

In this graveyard I sit all alone,
No one beside me no one to hold,
here i sit as hollow as bones,
Here I am freezing cold.

I want someone here,
Will anyone come,
My heart's full of fear,
i want to run.

I hear a sound,
Someone appears,
He sits on the ground,
His eyes full of tears.

I slowly walk up,
And ask him whats wrong,
he says" I'm out of luck,
Can you sing me a song?"

"A strange request,
but yes" i reply,
I could tell he was depressed,
and he needed to cry.

As i ended my song he asks,
"Why are you alone in this place",
I answer him not very fast,
" because when i cry i hide my face"

He stands up and tries to hug me,
He falls down and looks up,
" i am a ghost you see"
He has fear but not very much.

"I'm alone in this graveyard.
This place of gloom.
I sit on my grave,
And hope that the black rose blooms"

" because when it blooms i can be free,
I can see my love,
And he can see me,
And we can dance on the stars above,"

I will be able to stop sitting on this empty tomb,
so i help the ones who seek solace,
I tell them to just stare at the moon,
and to not make the same mistakes i made."

I committed suicide
Too blind to see all the ones that loved me,
And shortly my love found me and cried
Every day he comes here, my ghost he sees, and he promises me that he won't make the same mistake,
And he promises not to end his fate.

He cries on the grave,
And makes my rose bloom,
He begins to wave and says,
"my love I'll see you soon"
