I Have It All

by AloneInaCrowd   May 14, 2005

I stood, encircled in the crowd
My dulled heart scarcely beat aloud;
For there you stood with your new bride
Your arm possessively at her side....
I mourned to think of what I'd lost
I trusted you - I paid the cost.
For now I have been cast aside
You said you cared, yet you just lied.
To see her standing in my place
To see the radiance on her face....
I run, my sobs now fill the air
The wind whips through my long brown hair
I lose my step, and yes, I fall....
Caressing death, I have it all.
