World Prison: Breaking Free

by Eden   May 14, 2005

Dim the faultless sky with fire
For the moon will come transpire
All the living things of old
And how they were too bold.
In this crooked stance of life
Pawns the heart; a dancing knife.
I feel the cold upon my chest...
Making known the wound in my breast.
I can feel the temtations asunder...
Making little of the world wonder.
Who am I that I should think?
Break this rotten chain's old link.
Soon the moon will make its way
To the setting of just one more day.
I will be there when it has risen
Cold and desolate in my World Prison.
I will be there when it sleeps
And that is when the sun's poison seeps
Into my skin and leaves me in pain
Until the soothing Tribulation Rain.
See the sky alight with heat
Make my vision then soon repeat.
Children dying; I hate this sound.
I try to help, but there's no one around.
Enemies dying...oh, is that so?
Bring their deaths on...to crimson river's flow.
Heartlessness in my heart gone wild
Making foes feel just like a child.
I am running towards demons alike
Making myself known when we are to strike.
Allies appear from the darkness you fear,
And the biggest foe is drowned out by tears.
Take the blade from my wicked breast
Feel the blood beat from my own evil's crest.
Use this weapon that they themselves created...
Blood upon my skin...I am elated.
Vigorous, ingenious, cutting them down...
Forcing my way to their "golden" crown.
I take their head and replace it with thorns
Of the purest rose and the most depraved horns.
Wanton wails from within my mind
Scream to have their eyes burned out. Blind!
I'm the thing that my foes of the Light dread
For soon, my vision will come to behead
All of their lies they soaked me in when young...
Now it is time for their throats to be wrung.
My soul is yours for cruel inspecting...
Yours is mine for my own collecting.
