Black Summer It floats into her broken life, And makes it even worse. Her friends can’t see her silent tears, The torture of the curse. It doesn’t leave her after an hour, It doesn’t leave her after that day. It makes itself so comfortable, And tells her it will stay. She knows she’s got no life left, Her life has gone down the drain. There is no end to this black summer, No end to all this pain. Although she’s not the only one, She feels so sad and alone. She never really noticed it before, But now the problem has grown. She walks her life in daze, No reason to be alive now. She knows she can end this black summer, But the question, though, is How?
