It's been a while since we've last spoken...
I miss all the laughin' and all the jokin'.
Remembering all the good times we've had,
Sometimes makes me very sad.
It makes me sad cuz nothing's the same,
But who's really to blame?!
Not me, nor you.
Cuz there was nothing either of us could do.
Emotions ran high...
And in the end, we said good-bye.
But it doesn't have to be like this.
There are oh so many things I truly miss.
I miss being able to go to you with my many problems,
Cuz you were the one to help me solve them.
I miss talking to you about the good things that happen during the time we're apart,
And it hurts like a knife through my heart.
At first, I kept saying I hated you,
But in reality, I know that could never be true.
Your friendship meant so much to me.
I don't know how this ever came to be.
It seemed like our friendship went down the drain in just one night.
Just because of one little fight.
Or am I wrong?
Did you know this would happen all along?
It hurts me to think that you don't really care,
Cuz I still think of you as a friend that will always be there.
So if at any time you need a friend,
Just remember my name, cuz I'll be there 'til the end.
We just need to move on,
And learn to get along.
Hopefully this won't be the end,
