Don't need me now,
You've got so many new friends,
Met them all on this here site,
I am still wondering if I'm doing this out of spite.

"Probably not", I decide,
The fact is I'm jealous
And can't abide by
The fact that you don't need me anymore.

How can I know that you'll still be there?
Maybe found one of them,
And you don't really care.

I know if you were here,
You'd tell me I'm ridiculous,
And that you'll always be there.

But what if you're not?
You find them more sweet,
More reassuring than I could ever be.

I don't want to lose you,
I don't know what I'd do,
But if you don't need me,
Then I'll pretend I always knew
You'd leave me at first light.
